Green Smoothies
another one for lunch or a snack.
I've been consuming smoothies since taking myself off all pharmaceutical medication including, chemotherapy. Smoothies are not only tasty, but their health benefits are enormous. Green Smoothies are super-nutritious rich in vitamins and minerals, making them a whole-food meal.
My Green Smoothies are a mix of leafy vegetables; I love kale, but with my type of cancer, too much vitamin K causes me nose bleeds; therefore, I use little or no Kale in my smoothies. My favorite leafy greens are Spinich, Swiss Chard, Parsley, and mint, all fresh. I then add frozen fruits, ginger, chia seeds, protein powder and blend them with plant-based milk. Oat milk is my newest favorite.
Green Smoothies are packed with fiber, which helps lower cholesterol and glucose levels; they also keep you feeling full for a long time and help regulate your body's cleansing system. Green smoothies are a delicious way to get a rich dose of fruits and vegetables; they provide vital nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin A, Potassium, and folate.
I find that consuming Green Smoothies helped me tremendously in my daily self-care living healthy with my cancer.
